Hewitt Ballard is the lead Pastor of United Christian Center (San Antoino, Texas). He is a native of Pocomoke City, Maryland by way of Miami , Florida and received much of his Christian education and training in the Protestant faith. He has an Bachelors in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University. Pastor Ballard is a decorated military veteran who retired from the United Marines Corps after 20 years of faithful service. Throughout his world travels with the military, Pastor Ballard has served in various ministries, functioning in whatever role was needed to advance the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Ballard answered the call to ministry and was licensed to preach the gospel in June of 2002. He was ordained as an Elder in September 2004, while serving as the Minisiter of Music at United Christian Center, Okinawa, Japan. An annointed worship leader, Pastor Ballard is well known for his ability to usher in the presence of the Lord through praise and worship.
Over the years, Pastor Ballard has served as a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and in numerous ministry capacities. He has earned the respect of many, due to his humbleness and willingingness to help carryout the vision.
In August 2015, he founded United Christain Center (San Antonio) under the ecclesiastical covering and support of Bishop Terrence Carr, Pastor United Christian Center, Okinawa, Japan.
He is honored to be married to Lady Felita Ballard and they have six children.
